Hawzah News Agency- the International Conference of Influential Women of the World was held in the Islamic Awakening Hall of Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary in Qom with the presence of educated seminarian women and a group of influential women from 23 countries on Saturday, January 21.
In this conference, Mrs. Seyedah Zohra Burqai, the director of Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary welcomed the guests of this institution and pointed out the capacities of Al-Zahra Seminary from kindergarten to the higher levels of the school and university, and further explained the view of Islam on international issues with regard to the memorandum signed by International Influential Women.
In the following, Ms. Lina Zaidi, a social activist from India, Ms. Tara O'Grady from Ireland, Ms. Olya Al-Ahmad, a journalist from Bulgaria, and Ms. Awataf Salman from Iraq, expressed their memories of their lives and points about the influence of women in society.
On the sidelines of this conference, an exhibition of the works of students of the Free and Skilled Education Center of Jamiat Al-Zahra Seminary, including gilding, calligraphy, drawing and painting, writing, knitting, sewing, leather, photography, etc., was presented to the visitors.
